Experimental Technology Initially Created GMOs Genetically modified organisms are responsible for unnatural ingredients in foods that we eat. Evidence exists showing GMOs developing some serious illnesses and diseases in the human body. Major companies used extreme measures to block legislation that would divulge GMO practices. When GMOs were introduced, people reported toxic effects after consuming them because they were unnaturally created by placing genes from one species into DNA of another species. (Harris 100-101) GMOs are derived from experimental technology that creates unstable combinations of crops, animals, bacterial, and viral genes, that can't occur in nature like Vitamins, High-Fructose Corn Syrup, Xanthan Gum, Lactic Acid, Vitamin C, Amino Acids, Molasses, and more. (Leake 28-29) When foods inside a grocery store or supermarket are not labeled with non-GMO, then most likely they will have GMOs listed within its nutritional label.
